Module 2: Congenital Deformities Including Cleft: Surgical Planning and Prevention of Secondary Deformity

Course description:
In this module we will focus on congenital deformities concerning the nasal region. Tips and tricks are shared in the holistic assessment of the deformity patient,including support for patients and carers, and timing of interventions from birth to adulthood. Approaches to management of the unilateral and bilateral cleft nose and surgical techniques for primary and secondary management will be discussed and presented.
The online format includes small group discussions (maximum ten participants per room with two faculty), keynotes, and panel discussions with live Q&A. Participants are encouraged to discuss the cases, and content in an open manner and to share their own experiences.
Who is this course for?
This course is for certified surgeons with four or more years' of experience and it is targeted at consultants, specialists fellows and senior trainees in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, head and neck surgery, ophthalmology, and neurosurgery.
